Bang Bang Sauce:

1/2 c mayo

1/2 tsp sriracha sauce or less or more to taste

1/4 c sweet chilli sauce

Bang Bang Shrimp Batter:

1-2 pound jumbo shrimp shell off and deveined

1/2 c buttermilk

3/4 c cornstarch

1 c Panko bread crumbs more if needed

1 tsp parsley or cilantro finely chopped, for garnish

1 tbsp avocado oil for brushing air fryer pan and shrimp

Step 1: Add all the ingredients for the sauce in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 2: Prepare the Air Fryer and preheat to about 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.

Step 3: Apply cooking spray or avocado oil on the Air Fryer.

Step 4: Dip one shrimp into the cornstarch, buttermilk, then into the bread crumbs. Repeat this to the rest of the shrimp.

Step 5: Place the shrimp into the preheated Air Fryer. Cover it and cook each side for about 5 minutes or until done.

Step 6: Place the cooked shrimp on a clean serving plate.

Step 7: Drizzle the bang bang sauce on top of the shrimp.

Step 8: Sprinkle parsley or cilantro on top.

Step 9: Serve and enjoy!

You can also cook this recipe in a skillet. Just adjust the cooking time to about 2 to 3 minutes to cook the shrimp on each side.
